In the small town of Rexburg, Idaho, a BYU-Idaho student has opened up a small waffle trailer. Clarke Jackson is the student, and is calling his business “Waffle Works”. His trailer creates works of waffles such as: waffle sticks, waffle bites, and Belgium waffles. He is hoping to expand the business into a franchise that will spread across the United States.

Background Story

I decided to do a feature story on “Waffle Works” because my roommate is the owner and operator. He had this cool idea, and then won a competition with it, and I thought, “hey! That’s a cool story!” The waffle sticks and everything else is amazing and it is really underappreciated. I’m hoping that this story can help people realize what is in Rexburg and make them realize what they’re missing out by not going. Something funny about when I was filming, I was scared there weren’t going to be very many customers, but we actually had quite a few and they were all willing to be filmed, which was really great.
